Job Full Description

Express Employment Professionals is partnering to find a Core Processor Specialist for a client that has been offering new and used commercial truck parts since 1935. Our client has parts from a full line of manufacturers. They have a full line of rebuilt differentials and transmissions. This position processes, identifies, and grades incoming cores, and then puts them into inventory or sends them to the Wash Rack. Monitors core inventory levels and participates in coordinating yearly inventory. Works with Shop Foreman, Differential, and Transmission Lead to pull cores from inventory needed for production.

Starting Pay : $20 an hour

Schedule : Monday-Friday

Job Duties :

• Check-in cores
• Identify model / make / ratio
• Grade core quality
• Input data into an Excel spreadsheet
• Process cores
• Put away differential and transmission cores and accurately record the location
• Prepare cores that are needed for production immediately
• Remove lids on transmission cores for identification and grading
• Troubleshoot core tag printer
• Manage housekeeping needs by cleaning oil spills and keeping the workspace clean and tidy
• Assist in other departments as requested by the Shop Foreman
• Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance
