Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Special Education Teacher position is available to support students in a center-based classroom for grades K-3 at an elementary school in the northern Denver suburbs of Arvada, CO. This contract role runs from ASAP through May 29th, 2026, working with a caseload of five students with moderate to severe needs. The classroom is supported by two dedicated paraprofessionals to assist in delivering specialized instruction.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the needs of students with moderate to severe disabilities
• Collaborate with paraprofessionals and other staff to provide a supportive learning environment
• Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
• Communicate regularly with families and team members regarding student achievements and concerns
