North Lafayette area company is seeking an Accounting Assistant. The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for assisting other accounting staff with data entry into their system related to finances. This position will require proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including vLOOKUPS, sorting/filtering, formulas, and PivotTables. Sage 500 is utilized, which would be a plus, but a comparable program (i.e. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) or experience using an ERP program is acceptable. Ideal candidate will be self motivated, detailed, have some accounting knowledge, and a willingness to learn, as other training will be given.
$18/hr
