Pay Range : $57.36 - $85.47 per hour

Summary : The Senior Director of Medical Student Affairs oversees all administrative and operational aspects of medical student affairs, ensuring a positive and supportive environment for medical students. The Senior Director collaborates directly with the Medical Student Affairs Dean in planning and supporting the evolution and growth of Student Affairs in the medical college. The position requires strategic planning, policy development, and program implementation related to student well-being, academic advising, career planning, and student life. This position oversees professional and administrative staff, collaborates with faculty and other administrators within RMC and the broader RU community. This position also exemplifies the Rush mission, vision, and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.
Required Job Qualifications :
- Ph.D. in College Student Personnel, Higher Education Administration, strong career development experience.
- 8-10 years of related experience
- Understanding of medical education and recruitment
- Curriculum delivery and development
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Commitment to working effectively with diverse populations
- Ability to initiate, cultivate and maintain relationships with a range of personnel : students, faculty, administrative staff, industry leaders among other key internal and external constituents
- Strong technology / data management skills
- Familiarity with LCME accreditation regulations, policies and processes
