Job Title : Solar Electrical Superintendent

Pay range $60 / hr

Job Description

The site superintendent will be responsible for the overall supervision of the construction of 100KW-250KW rooftop solar systems for a portfolio of 8 schools. This includes ensuring safety measures are in place, especially fall protection as required by OSHA, and leading a safety culture. The superintendent will coordinate and communicate with the owner regarding progress updates and oversee 2-3 subcontractors to ensure standards are met, providing ongoing QA / QC support. Daily safety and QA / QC reports must be provided to the project manager.

• Supervise construction of rooftop solar systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and lead safety culture.
• Communicate progress updates to the owner.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure quality standards are met.
• Provide daily safety and QA / QC reports to the project manager.
• Conduct daily meetings and manage reports.

Work Environment

The role involves working on a construction site, managing multiple subcontractors, often outside in the heat. You will be working from an onsite trailer, completing paperwork, scheduling, and taking notes during safety meetings.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $62.00 / hr.
