Senior Civil Project Engineer

We are looking for a Civil Project Engineer that has a BS in Civil or Structural Engineering with proven experience and understanding of design concepts. You must be a registered Professional Engineer (PE). Experience in working with CAD, Revit, and BIM 360. Proficiency in engineering calculations, drainage exhibits, and building design principles are a must. Excellent written and communication skills and strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure on multiple project deadlines is also a must. The successful candidate will work with a team to ensure projects are designed in accordance with current manuals and specifications, as well as following accepted industry practices and procedures. We need our team members to be versatile, enthusiastic, and have a highly team-oriented mindset. The position is open to recent Professional Engineers with 4 to 6 years of experience in either the Indianapolis area or Louisville area.

A day in the life of a Project Engineer

You will be managing projects with a team so you must have the ability to complete projects from start to finish as well as to delegate tasks to your team members. You will have client meetings with experienced staff and will be a client point of contact. You will provide feedback as often as possible to help others grow. You will oversee and check the work of less experienced team members. Experience with generating proposals is a plus. You will be responsible for plan sheet production and technical writing.
