Salary :

Tri-City Group is currently seeking an experienced Construction Equipment Mechanic to join our team! This position is responsible for the maintenance, delivery, repair, and safety of a wide range of Construction, heavy machines, equipment, and vehicles for construction sites and services.

Responsibilities include but not limited to :

• Repairing and Maintaining Mechanical Equipment Servicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment that operate primarily based on mechanical (not electronic) principles.
• Motorized and non-motorized small engines, portable and stationary generators. Mechanical hydraulic, pneumatic booms, derricks, diggers, bucket trucks, repair vehicles, job trailers, controls, lines, hoses, cables, drive assembly, winches and gearboxes, and add-on components such as pumps, racking, and lighting.
• Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects.
• Inspecting Equipment, Structures, or Materials Inspecting equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects.
• Mends damaged body parts by hammering out or filling in dents and bodywork, including painting. Examines protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices adjusting as needed.
• Initiates purchase orders for parts and machines.
• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
• Drives vehicles and equipment to and from designated locations for service and repairs, transport materials and / or equipment while keeping documentation of transport, and service details.
• Cleaning, inspecting, and servicing equipment.
• Follows safe operating procedures based on vehicle / load requirements and proper tie-down procedures checked off prior to transport.
