[job_card.job_description]B.S. / B.A. Degree in Accounting CPA designation or MBA degree strongly preferred Minimum 2-4 years working as a senior accountant and / or staff accountant (manufacturing experience preferred) Experience completing general accounting in accordance with US GAAP and financial close functions in ERP systems, with Oracle JDE experience strongly preferred Prior experience working for a global accounting firm ( Big 4) a plus Demonstration of increasing levels of responsibility and experience Strong understanding of US GAAP Accounting principles Highly analytical, and driven to prepare and analyze financial reports, data sets and models Excellent project management skills, including managing deadlines Comfortable working in a dynamic environment Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work productively across the organization Support month-end close process , including preparation and recording of journal entries as assigned Support the completion of the monthly financial package Provide explanations for expense variances noted in the monthly financials Act as administrator for Avalara for the sale tax functions Assist with weekly Accounts Payable payment runs, utilizing JP Morgan Access Collaborate with Human Resources to support payroll postings and commissions payments Prepare supporting schedules for the audit Review and recommend modifications to accounting processes and procedures Complete special projects as assigned $90,000 - $100,000 and 10% targeted annual bonus dependent on Company results.
