Engineering - Technician - Engineering (Entry Level)

Shift - M-F 7am-4pm, with possible overtime when HM approves

0-6 months contract with opportunity of possible extension

Top 3 must haves

Construction / Contractor management, mechanical aptitude, ability to read P&ID’s / structural / mechanical / electrical prints

What you’ll do

• Perform mechanical and or electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of all manufacturing and facilities equipment
• Supervise the upgrades / modifications to all equipment in order to maintain an “As New Status”(Includes function and appearance).
• Identify key areas for improvement and execute the corrective action
• Manage and execute small scale equipment & facility projects
• Perform and execute Job Safety Analysis (JSA)
• Execute equipment startup, equipment support and calibration.
• Supervise contractors (plumbers, electricians, etc) and coordinate mechanical assemblies
• Communicate in timely manor relevant information pertaining specific programs and engineering disciplines.
• Lead FMEAs for equipment upgrades, changes or obsolescence.
• Utilize Root Cause Analysis in problem solving and troubleshooting.
• Train / Mentor Maintenance technicians in troubleshooting and problem solving
