Travel Nurse RN - Oncology - $2,486 per week in Dalton, GA

Job Title : Oncology Infusion Registered Nurse Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Oncology Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 8 Experience : Minimum of 5 years Med / Surg nursing experience preferred. License : License as a registered professional nurse in the state of Georgia is required. Certifications : BLS CPR required. Chemotherapy certification with the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) is required within 6 months of hire or job assignment. Must-Have : - Ability to access all central and peripheral lines. - Knowledge of chemotherapy and biotherapy according to the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS). - Knowledge of Intravenous Nurses Society (INS) Standards of Practice. - Ability to work with minimal supervision. Description : We are seeking 2 infusion / oncology registered nurses. The shift will be 5 days per week from 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM. Times may need to be adjusted based on staffing and scheduling needs. An Associate Degree in nursing is required, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred. Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of Med / Surg nursing experience, with 2 years of experience in chemotherapy and intravenous administration preferred. The role requires the ability to manage and care for patients undergoing chemotherapy treatment. Candidates should possess strong nursing skills as defined in the law governing the practice of nursing in Georgia. This position involves working in an ambulatory infusion center and includes responsibilities such as administering chemotherapy and monitoring patients' responses to treatment. Nurses will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care for oncology patients.
