Unit Information : JFK Main CT Tech (726) Location : JFK Main Address : 5301 South Congress Avenue, Atlantis, FL 33462 Floor : Building : General Information Tell us about the unit(s) : Number of Beds - 24 Number of Staff 14 Type of staff : Radiologist, radiologist techs, Ultrasound Techs, MRI Techs, CT Techs o Day Shift Director, Radiologist, 6-7 Techs o Night Shift Charge RN, On-call team, 3-4 Techs, varies on volume Patient Ratios 1 : 1, 1 : 2, depending on stability of patient Type of equipment ALL GE Equipment, MRI Units, scanners, cameras, x-ray, fluoroscopy EMR Meditech Call Requirements- yes 4-6 shifts a month (on off day) Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for : (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. ARRT (CT), BLS & Florida State DOH License Strongly prefer experience with GE and Meditech Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. List typical procedures performed on unit(s) : CT Scan, MRI, body scanner , X-Rays Create pictures of bones, organs, tissues and combine to create accurate picture assessment Best personality Fit : Communications skills, medical and anatomical skills, mechanical aptitude Ability to multi-task, work with variety of physicians, radiologists, patients Dress Code : Include requirements, but most of all not acceptable attire.
