Title : Quality Engineer

Location : Milwaukee, WI (On-Site)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to drive continuous improvement initiatives and ensure product and process quality in our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality systems, root cause analysis, and lean manufacturing principles, with a passion for solving problems and improving performance.

Key Responsibilities & Duties :

• Lead and support Quality improvement projects across manufacturing processes to reduce internal defects, supplier defects, customer quality escapes, and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for internal and external quality issues.
• Develop and maintain quality documentation, including control plans, inspection instructions, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Engineering, Supply Chain) to ensure quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.
• Perform data analysis on quality metrics and present findings to management with actionable recommendations.
• Support internal and external audits, including ISO 9001 or other relevant standards as needed
• Monitor and improve supplier quality performance through audits and corrective actions as needed
• Train and mentor production staff on quality standards, tools and best practices.
• Travel between 3 sites within a commuting distance of 5 miles.
