CNC Programmer

Location :  Chatsworth, CA

Schedule : M-F 7am - 3 : 30PM

Pay :  $28.00 - $38.00 per hour (Dependent on Experience)

Are you a skilled CNC professional looking to grow with a dynamic company? Their Chatsworth-based facility is expanding! This company specializes in high-precision machined parts and complex assemblies for the Aerospace and Aircraft industries—including critical engine and hydraulic landing gear components.

As a CNC Programmer, you will be the backbone of our production line. You won't just be sitting behind a screen; you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of the part—from analyzing blueprints and developing efficient code to setting up and operating the machinery to ensure a perfect finish.

Responsibilities

  • Create new CNC programs and modify existing ones to optimize production.
  • Technical Analysis : Review drawings, blueprints, and design data to calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates.
  • Perform full machine setups and operate CNC equipment to produce high-quality parts.
  • Design fixtures and select cutting tools based on work-holding devices, material types, and machine limitations.
  • Conduct first-article inspection reviews, resolve errors, and maintain accurate in-process quality records.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated background in both CNC programming and machine operation.
  • Familiarity with high-strength alloys and exotic metals is a major plus.
  • A commitment to continuously improving processes and eliminating waste in a high-paced environment.
