Variant Scientist II

A company is looking for a Variant Scientist II to join its team.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform variant interpretation and curation to generate clinical reports

Analyze and interpret clinical and genetic information from various sources

Develop and refine genetic content for a range of genetic disorders

Required Qualifications :

Ph.D. in Life Sciences with variant interpretation experience, or

Master's degree in a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or

Bachelor's degree in a related field with at least 3 years of relevant experience

Experience in a CLIA diagnostic laboratory is preferred

Familiarity with next-generation sequencing and genetic variant interpretation is preferred
