About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Chief Software Architect to elevate our technical excellence across various architectural domains (Golang, Python, Typescript, DevOps, Data & Persistence, and Orchestration). This position is ideal for a seasoned engineering leader with diverse technical experience, a strategic mindset, and a passion for solving complex challenges. You will lead organization-wide initiatives, guide architectural decisions across multiple domains, and raise the engineering standards in performance, security, and scalability.

What You'll Do
- Define and advocate for high technical quality standards across the engineering organization.
- Collaborate with engineering and product leaders to align the technical roadmap with the company’s broader goals while balancing rapid feature delivery with the long-term health of the codebase.
- Mentor designated architects in each area of architecture (Golang, Python, Typescript, DevOps, Data & Persistence, and Orchestration).
- Develop comprehensive standards for building resilient, scalable systems, including monitoring, automated testing, deployment pipelines, and development best practices.
- Identify systemic issues leading to technical debt and implement preventive solutions.
- Create systems to measure, track, and systematically resolve existing technical challenges.
- Review technical documents and proposals.
What You Bring
10+ years of software engineering experience, including substantial time in senior technical leadership roles.A proven track record of successfully implementing engineering best practices and driving process improvements across teams.An extensive background in architectural strategy, large-scale system design, and providing technical leadership in complex organizations.Strong proficiency in modern programming languages such as Python, Go, and Typescript.The ability to engage cross-functionally and communicate technical decisions and trade-offs to diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.Versatile problem-solving skills and a holistic mindset towards engineering challenges.Why Work At Pulley?
