We are currently recruiting for a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide services at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Charleston, SC.

Responsibilities :

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsibilities shall include, but are not limited to, the following :

• Under the supervision of the nurse manager, the LPN works closely with others as needed in the Acute Care Medical / Surgical areas and Primary Care settings throughout Charleston VA and surrounding Community-Based Outpatient Clinics.
• The LPN functions both dependently and independently with guidance and direction from the Nurse Manager / designee.
• The LPN may be utilized as needed in the Acute Care Medical / Surgical areas, ambulatory / outpatient care clinics, and the outpatient lab.
• The LPN may be utilized as needed in the Acute Care Medical / Surgical areas, ambulatory / outpatient care clinics, and the outpatient lab.
• The LPN must demonstrate the ability to serve as a responsible member of the nursing team and interact [in an appropriate manner] with patients, family members, professionals and [other] supportive personnel [involved in the delivery of] patient care, incorporating acceptable, established customer service standards into practice.
