ERP Business Analyst

Responsibilities for this role include process design, change and support within the business units. strategic partner to the business, ensuring expansion in the usage and maturity of the Internal ERP System. This role is a hands on position that requires experience with manufacturing, planning, and distribution. One of the primary accountabilities will be to provide guidance for users through process design / changes, system design / changes, and maximizing output of the ERP system.

• Additional responsibilities :
• Act as the primary BA for the client, with previous ERP experience.
• Work directly with users to understand requirements, etc.
• Design, develop, and implement / support business processes and solutions within the internal ERP. .
• Direct development and support of user-facing IFS configurations including, but not limited to, custom objects, reports, saved searches, and lobbies.
• Train business users on processes.
• Adhere to, and be an advocate for, strong SDLC practices. Need to ensure that design specifications, testing, and documentation are completed for each project or activity.
• Proactively pursues improvement opportunities as it relates to the company's business processes.
• Qualifications :
• MUST BE A US PERSON and able to work onsite in a Hybrid role.
• Experience in A&D preferred, but not required.
• Large scale MRP experience
• Extensive ERP experience - functional and slightly technical (reports, lobbies, custom objects). Specific ERP system experience not required.
• Experience supporting ERP implementations - data migration experience is preferred.
• Experience designing and producing customer ready reports, Lobbies, and custom objects.
• Some experience of SQL and Data Migration is a plus.
• BS Degree in Computer Science, MIS or similar technical discipline preferred, but not required.

Onsite / remote requirements :

This role is hybrid (2-3) days in office - located in the Hartsford, Connecticut area. This person MUST be willing to work hybrid out of this location.
