Janitorial Cleaner

JANITOR / CLEANER - MCO Orlando International Airport

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Janitor / Cleaner to join our team at MCO Airport. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the airport facilities, including restrooms, waiting areas, and other public spaces.

JOB SUMMARY :

Tasks include but not limited to dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, grooming, trash removal, cleaning and sanitizing areas that include but not limited to bathrooms, common areas, escalators, elevators and stairwells, furniture, windows, sidewalks, wall, flat and floor surfaces. Assembles and uses necessary equipment and supplies. This includes but not limited to hand tools, motorized equipment, chemical and cleaning utensils to address specific work assignments. Aid guests that may have questions or concerns. Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned by Janitorial Operations Supervisor and Janitorial Operation Manager.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
• Maintain cleanliness of waiting areas, including seating, floors, and trash removal.
• Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, such as door handles, handrails, and elevator buttons.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as dusting, sweeping, and mopping.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines.
