Your day to day as a Deli Clerk - Full Time

As a Full-Time Deli Clerk at Brookhaven Market, you'll dive into a flavorful adventure every day! You'll slice, package, and weigh deli meats and cheeses to perfection, ensuring each customer gets exactly what they crave. Keeping our deli counter and display cases clean and organized will be your culinary canvas, showcasing fresh and delicious products.

Your knack for excellent customer service means you'll assist shoppers in selecting their favorites and answering any burning questions about our delectable offerings. Navigating deli equipment safely will empower you to be both efficient and effective, all while following vital food safety regulations. Knowledge and skills required for the position are :

• Previous experience in a deli or food service environment is a plus but not required
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
• Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of scheduled shift and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
