Nature of Work Serves customers by installing and servicing mechanical systems and products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plan and complete all necessary steps in the installation, maintenance, and repair of

HVAC systems

  • Troubleshoot malfunctions, interruptions, and failures of HVAC Equipment
  • Adhere to the highest standards of quality and safety
  • Ensure complete customer satisfaction from start to finished product
  • Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations / briefings
  • Respond to emergency service requests
  • Communicate in a professional manner with employees and customers
  • Produce detailed service reports and time entry daily
  • Operate and maintain an organized and well-inventoried vehicle
  • Adhere to current HVAC rules, regulations, and codes
  • Proper use of tools and equipment
  • Provide documentation including processes, daily logs, etc. as required for assigned projects
  • Travel to jobs within service area and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are promptly communicated
  • Build positive relationships with customers
  • Promote the company safety culture and safety awareness throughout the company, projects, or office
  • Maintain a satisfactory driving record which, per Company's vehicle policy, allows operation of a vehicle for business purposes
  • Exercise initiative or, as directed, perform additional duties to meet the needs of

    • the organization

    Qualifications

  • Ability to perform work accurately, completely, and in a timely manner
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills on a technical level
  • Ability to understand and implement best practice standards
  • Ability to quickly and effectively solve complex problems
  • Ability to deliver quality through attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to be proactive and resourceful
  • Ability to build relationships with team members that transcend a project
  • Ability to maintain current Class E driver's license and good driving record

    • Experience

  • 3 years or more of HVAC technical and trade experience.

    • Education

  • Minimum of high school diploma or GED

    • Physical Demands and Working Environment

  • Must be able to lift 100+ pounds
  • Able to tolerate extreme temperatures for extended periods of time
  • Able to work overtime and weekend hours in an On-Call Rotation
  • Able to continually push, pull, lift, grasp, hold, carry, reach, reach above the shoulders, stoop, bend at the waist, bend at the knee, kneel, bend side to side, crouch, stand on step stools or small ladders and balance.
  • This position will be required to use a ladder and work at tall heights (i.e. roof top, access ladders, scissor-lift, scaffolding)
  • Ability to pass drug screen, physical exam, and background check.
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Safety-sensitive position that requires extreme focus and attention to safety hazards and safety protocols.
