Cardiovascular Technologist
Shift: Days, FT, Monday-Friday or 4-10/hr shifts, On Call Rotations including Weekends Required

As a Cardiovascular Invasive Tech at Turkey Creek Medical Center, you’ll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. Requirements:

• Current BLS from AHA or ARC
• A High School diploma or a General Education diploma from an educational institution that is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education is preferred.
• Previous experience working in a Cath Lab is required.
• Valid Invasive Cardiovascular Registration from the National Board of Cardiovascular Technology –(CCI-RCIS)

About the Job:

• Highly specialized in assisting during diagnostic and therapeutic/interventional cardiovascular procedures. Assists the physician during procedures and operates specialized equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• The RCIS is responsible for maintaining sterile techniques during procedures, recording and calculating data information for the physician’s final approval and assisting in maintenance of a safe, efficient environment in an acute care area dealing primarily with the adult patient population.
• Prepares written documentation as required by the profession and the department, regarding individualized treatment plans, evaluation results, and progress reports. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision.
