At The Studio, classic American cuisine is elevated with seasonal flavors and creative presentations. Surrounded by the artistry and energy of Milwaukee's Theater District, The Studio offers guests a dining experience that blends refinement with genuine warmth. As a Lead Server, you will not only deliver exceptional service but also support the front-of-house team to ensure smooth, memorable dining experiences for every guest.

What will you be doing?

Lead by example by providing professional, attentive, and engaging service to all guests.

Act as a mentor and role model for servers and server assistants, supporting training and development.

Assist management with daily floor operations, including table assignments, pacing, and guest flow.

Monitor service quality and provide on-the-spot coaching to ensure consistency and excellence.

Communicate clearly with the culinary team, bartenders, and front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service.

Take and deliver food and beverage orders with accuracy and efficiency.

Anticipate guest needs, handle special requests, and resolve concerns with professionalism.

Assist with side work, opening / closing duties, and ensuring service areas are clean and organized.

Support management with additional duties as needed.

What we are looking for :

Prior serving experience required; leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Strong knowledge of food, wine, and spirits, with the ability to guide and upsell to guests.

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and coach a team.

Ability to remain composed, professional, and proactive in a fast-paced environment.

Must be able to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.

Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.

A team-first mindset, a passion for hospitality, and a drive to elevate both guest and associate experiences.
