Immigration Paralegal

Description

A boutique immigration law firm located in Newark, New Jersey seeks an Immigration Paralegal on a long-term, temporary basis. This is a part-time position, onsite Monday-Friday from 10AM to 3PM and is commutable by public transportation. The hourly rate is $25 - $30.

Primary Duties :

This is a high-volume practice requiring excellent verbal and written communication skills as the Immigration Paralegal (Part-Time) will have frequent contact with clients and prepare written correspondence and court filings. Outstanding organization and follow-up skills are a must as you will be monitoring the firm's court calendar and managing telephone inquiries / communications. Additional duties include the following :

• Preparing and facilitating document deliveries to the USCIS and EOIR
• Completing family-based immigration forms including VAWA petitions
