We are currently seeking a motivated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Progressive Care Unit on a PRN basis for night shifts (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.). Your role as a Progressive Care Registered Nurse will include :
Assessing patient conditions upon admission and during each shift to identify changes in status.Delivering high-quality nursing care as directed by medical providers.Documenting care provided in the patient medical record accurately and promptly.Administering medications and monitoring patient responses.Maintaining familiarity with medications and procedures relevant to cardiac and medical-surgical patients.Qualifications :
Graduate of an accredited nursing program (diploma, associate, or bachelor’s degree).At least six months of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.Current Texas RN License or Multi-State Compact License (Required to obtain Texas RN License within 60 days of hire for those with Compact License).Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant is renowned for its record-setting kidney, liver, and pancreas transplant programs, and we are dedicated to providing exceptional care.
