About the Role

Our client is looking for a hands-on full stack developer who’s fluent across front-end, back-end, and eCommerce platforms. This role combines the best of both worlds - hands-on development, building and integrating scalable web solutions, and mentoring others through best practices. The right candidate combines deep technical expertise with a collaborative, mentoring mindset.

Responsibilities

  • 10+ years of web development experience, including 8+ years of hands-on JavaScript work
  • Proven experience across front-end (React.js / Next.js) and back-end (Node.js, Express.js) development
  • 5+ years working with B2B eCommerce platforms (BigCommerce or similar)
  • Strong database experience (SQL and NoSQL)
  • Background leading or mentoring other developers and collaborating with offshore teams
  • Proficient in API design, system integration, and Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, GitHub)
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to translate complex requirements into working code

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

    • Required Skills

  • 10+ years of web development experience, including 8+ years of hands-on JavaScript work
  • Proven experience across front-end (React.js / Next.js) and back-end (Node.js, Express.js) development
  • 5+ years working with B2B eCommerce platforms (BigCommerce or similar)
  • Strong database experience (SQL and NoSQL)

  • Proficient in API design, system integration, and Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, GitHub)

    • Preferred Skills

  • Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.)
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices

    • Up to 10% travel.
