Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Position : Full-Time, Onsite

Dates : 20252026 School Year

Hours : 37.5 hours / week

Overview :

We're seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher to support students in K-12 Setting in the Montgomery, AL area. This is a well-supported program with paraeducator assistance.

Responsibilities :

Lead instruction in a self-contained special education classroom

Provide individualized academic and behavioral support

Collaborate with paraprofessional staff

Implement IEPs and track progress

Create a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment

Qualifications

Active AL Special Education teaching license

Experience working in self-contained settings preferred

Comfortable supporting a range of needs

Strong communication and classroom management skills
