The Town of Mansfield Parks and Recreation Department is seeking lifeguards!

As a lifeguard, what will I be doing?

Duties include but are not limited to : scanning and surveying their assigned zone to recognize potential emergencies, setting up / taking down of daily equipment, assist in the preparation of daily lessons, participate in aquatic activities, provide emergency rescues or First Aid, and ensure safe swimming conditions.

What are the requirements?

Lifeguard(s) should have a good knowledge of aquatic programs, equipment and rescue techniques with an ability to establish and maintain good relations with the Town staff, volunteers, as well as the general public. Must be at least 15 years of age. WSI highly recommended but not required. Current CPR, Lifeguard Training, and First Aid certification is required.

How will I be compensated?

All lifeguard positions are part-time, hourly position with no benefits.

Head Guard : $18.11-$19.20 / per hour

Lifeguard(s) : $17.01-$18.04 / per hour

Selected candidates will be subject to a background check.
