Lead Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)
Job Purpose : The Lead Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for the safety of the clients and maintaining a positive atmosphere in the milieu to ensure optimal conditions that lead to favorable outcomes for the clients. The Lead BHT provides direct and indirect care to clients under the supervision of a Program Director.
Job Functions
- Perform duties to monitor client’s participation in activities
- Assist clients to proceed through the responsibilities and commitments of the assigned program and transport clients to offsite activities
- Providing services under parameters of designated program and within prescribed setting, working within the limits of standard or accepted practice.
- Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures.
