Join Our Dynamic Operating Room Team!

Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, located at 2900 W Oklahoma Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215, is seeking a dedicated Surgical Technologist I for our General Specialty PM shifts. As the largest hospital in Wisconsin, we pride ourselves on providing innovative care and are known for our exceptional standards in health care.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prepare and maintain a safe, sterile environment for optimal patient care during surgeries.
  • Assist with the setup of surgical instruments and ensure all necessary supplies are readily available.
  • Perform duties such as passing instruments, holding retractors, and maintaining aseptic techniques throughout the procedure.
  • Transport patients and equipment as needed, demonstrating proper safety protocols.
  • Contribute as a Second Assistant during surgeries when required.

    • Qualifications :

  • Completion of an accredited program in Surgical Technology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification needed within 6 months of hire.
  • No prior experience required—this is a fantastic opportunity for new graduates!

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform various physical tasks throughout shifts in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must demonstrate excellent vision and hearing capabilities.
  • Willingness to work with potential exposure to various medical hazards.
