Associate ABS Structured Finance Research Analyst

Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our team as an Associate Structured Finance Research Analyst!

About the role

This role will support the continued growth of Symetra Investment Management's (SIM) investment portfolio with a primary focus on the evaluation and analysis of ABS investments. Core responsibilities will include assisting in the analysis and underwriting of new investment opportunities, conducting ongoing surveillance and performance monitoring, and producing portfolio analysis and risk analytics for SIM's ABS holdings.

This is a hybrid work role based in Farmington Connecticut.

What you will do

• Assist in the analysis and underwriting of new investment opportunities.
• Conduct surveillance and performance monitoring, and produce portfolio analysis and risk analytics for SIM's ABS holdings.
• Execute research initiatives and strategic projects analyzing ABS market dynamics.

Compensation

Salary Range : $93,900 - $156,600 plus eligibility for annual bonus program
