Location : Trinity Health Ann Arbor Hospital

Minimum Rate of Pay : Minimum of $18.83 per hour

General Summary : The Csr Central Sterile and Reprocessing Specialist is responsible for cleaning all contaminated instruments and materials from Main OR, ASF, Labor and Delivery, Cath Lab, Hemodialysis and Emergency Room. This includes loading and operating the washers, assembling instrument trays and operating autoclaves, while maintaining quality standards. The Csr circulates case carts after receiving preference cards from surgical sites. The Csr also responds to requests for unexpected needs and emergency items 24 hrs a day 7 days a week.

Required Qualifications :

• High school education or equivalent. Must be able to comprehend written and verbal instructions. Should have basic working knowledge of computers. Should have the ability to operate computerized equipment.
• Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician OR at least 1 year of work experience in an EVS or Sterile Processing environment.
• Certification required within two years of employment.
