Pay Range : $76,000 - $109,000

Job Summary : The Sr. Product Development Engineer will develop technologies that align with each brand’s innovation priorities. This position will be responsible for development, validation, and transfer of new materials, components, and / or processes to the New Product Development team. This role will collaborate with Merchandising and Marketing for joint development of new mattress systems to support the product roadmap. This position is a highly collaborative role with many cross-functional partners working together to deliver great products. Additionally, the Sr. Product Development Engineer will focus on delivering quality and cost improvements on present constructions.

Requirements

Qualifications :

To perform this job successfully, the employee must be capable of performing each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements herein are the minimum levels of knowledge, skills, and / or abilities required.

Training / Equipment :

Work Environment / Physical Requirements :   Fast-paced corporate office environment. Travel to accommodate project schedules, such as program rollouts, will be necessary. Travel is estimated at 20%. Should be capable of lifting at least 40 pounds.
