We are looking for an experienced Controller to lead the financial operations of our award-winning client in Indianapolis, Indiana. This position offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the financial strategy of a dynamic organization that values excellence and teamwork.

Responsibilities :

• Manage and oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare detailed financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support organizational decision-making.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls and financial procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and external audit standards.
• Support the annual audit and tax filing processes by preparing necessary documentation and addressing auditor inquiries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and reporting that drive strategic initiatives.
• Supervise general ledger activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries, to maintain accuracy.
• Handle regulatory reporting obligations such as sales tax filings and 1099 compliance.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of relevant accounting experience, including expertise in month-end close and financial reporting.
• Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP and experience with accounting software such as NetSuite.
• CPA certification is preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
• Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
