GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION

• Performs skilled work in maintaining, operating, and repairing of all campus buildings and facilities. Inspect, repair, install, and maintain physical facilities requiring skilled mechanical and trade work. Performs work in the inspection, repair, construction and documentation of all work, systems, and hazardous conditions pertaining to HVAC units and their control systems.
• Responsible for maintaining and repairing all HVAC / Refrigeration equipment and controls in all campus buildings. Includes all boilers, chillers, heat pumps, packaged units, cooling towers, VAV / VVT units, steam systems and refrigeration equipment. Responsible for operation, calibration and maintenance of all building control systems, including pneumatic, electric and DDC. Knowledge in Niagra, Mitsubishi, Pelican, Johnson, Compass and Daikin controls is preferred.
• Will maintain detailed logs of all preventive maintenance and repair activities. The emphasis is on preventive maintenance.
