Business Intake Analyst

This is an exciting opportunity to work for one of the top law firms in the U.S.! Davis Wright Tremaine LLP is seeking a Business Intake Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in screening potential client engagements while adhering to the firm's comprehensive risk management procedures and policies. Enjoy the flexibility of being fully remote while being within reasonable commuting distance from our offices located in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York, or Washington D.C.

On a typical day you will :

• Collect and evaluate financial data, regulatory and litigation histories, and recent news from various external corporate and governmental databases (such as Dun and Bradstreet, TLO, Bloomberg, Lexis, SEC, etc.) focusing on risk management and due diligence.
• Collaborate with intake attorneys and reviewing attorneys (Practice Group heads and Partners in Charge) to assess risk management issues associated with new clients and matters, and work with litigation partners to analyze the financial viability of potential new matters.
• Conduct special searches as needed to uncover potential risk management or business challenges regarding incoming lateral attorneys, potential mergers, and other unique cases.
• Engage in special projects aimed at enhancing new business intake best practices and risk management initiatives within the Information Governance department.
• Assist the Conflicts team in evaluating potential conflicts of interest according to the applicable Rules of Professional Conduct.
• Partner with Quality Assurance Committee (QAC) Paralegals to support the Claims Counsel and General Counsel in interpreting and executing Litigation Holds, Subpoenas, and Protective Orders; assist in the Outside Counsel Guidelines (OCG) intake process.
• Contribute to other research and administrative tasks and support cross-departmental teams as assigned.

Salary Information : The annualized salary range for this position varies by location : Washington $86,000 to $92,000; Los Angeles $86,000 to $92,000; San Francisco $96,000 to $103,000; New York $86,000 to $92,000; Washington D.C. $85,000 to $89,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on the candidate's experience and other relevant factors.
