As a Technical Proposal Writer, your key responsibilities will include:
Crafting technical proposals for U.S. federal government clients seeking Oracle Cloud services.
Collaborating with subject matter experts at Oracle to gather and organize information for diverse audiences.
Documenting client requirements while ensuring compliance across response teams.
Becoming proficient in Oracle GDI's proposal process to support team initiatives.
Identifying and implementing process enhancements within the team.
Supporting response teams both online and in-person to ensure cohesive proposals.
Managing multiple document versions and maintaining updated working documents during the proposal drafting process.
Exhibiting exceptional written and verbal communication skills and adhering to Oracle's writing standards.
Experience
Required
A minimum of four years' experience as a technical writer in the industry.
Desired
At least six years' experience in a similar role.
Education and Certifications
Required
A Bachelor's degree in any field.
Desired
APMP Foundation Level Certification or higher.
Security Clearance:
Candidates must be eligible for Secret or Top-Secret Security Clearance for U.S. federal work. This role is remote, but candidates should be willing to travel to the Reston, VA Office a few times each quarter.
Additional Responsibilities
In this role, you will work closely with clients to develop tailored solutions and showcase your thorough product knowledge. Additional responsibilities include:
Collaborating with clients to gather precise requirements and develop appropriate architectures.
Translating business needs into effective solutions.
Guiding customers from initial Proof of Concept (POC) stages to successful deployment, providing configuration and training support.
Creating valuable technical assets such as white papers, blogs, and video demonstrations.
Acting as a technical liaison for customers and sales teams, while enhancing your business and technical expertise.

Compensation and Benefits:
The compensation range for this position is between $37.88 and $60.63 per hour, with an annual salary from $78,800 to $126,100. Eligible for equity and commission with an estimated pay mix of 70/30.
