A healthcare facility in Glendale is seeking an experienced Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer for a mid‑shift assignment. The ideal candidate is skilled in adult transthoracic echocardiography, stress echo procedures, and assisting cardiologists with TEEs. Strong workflow management and the ability to handle inpatient portable studies are essential.

Shift : Mid shift, 5×8 hours (13 : 00–21 : 30)

Top 3 Required Skills

Perform transthoracic adult echocardiograms per ASE guidelines

Perform stress echoes (exercise & pharmacologic)

Assist cardiologists with TEEs

Top 3 Preferred Skills

6+ months hospital experience

Knowledge of GE Vivid E95

Knowledge of Synapse PACS

Top Daily Responsibilities

Perform portable inpatient transthoracic echoes, generate prelim reports, notify critical findings

Prioritize workflow based on order urgency (STAT, urgent, ASAP, routine)

Verify all orders are completed, logged, and studies remain in preliminary status at shift end

Minimum Education

Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) OR

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)

Required Certifications

BLS (preferred but typically required)
