Job Title : Cardiac Cath Tech Profession : Allied Specialty : Cardiac Catheterization Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 12hr Day Shift Hours per Shift : 36 Experience : Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience License : Required License : BLS, ACLS Certifications : ARRT-R or RCIS Must-Have : - Cath Lab experience - Vascular experience including Endograft experience Description : Join our team as a Cardiac Cath Tech. We are a Level I Trauma Teaching Hospital with a Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center. Our unit has 4 cardiac rooms and 3 vascular rooms. We handle a variety of cardiac cases including NON-STEMI, STEMI, TAVR, Watchman, and Mitral Clip. Vascular cases primarily involve lower extremity angiograms and EVAR and TEVAR cases. Patient ratios are 1 : 1 for Cardiac Cath Techs. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing pressors, charting in EPIC, and performing pre / post documentation. The technology utilized includes EMR, hemodynamic monitoring, IV pumps, and various X-ray equipment. There will be opportunities for on-call shifts, including weekends and holidays.
