About the Role

The Company is seeking a VP, Translational Immunology and Pharmacology to join their mission of revolutionizing drug discovery. The successful candidate will be a key player in the development of new medicines, with a focus on immunology and biomarker development. This role is pivotal in leading the translational immunology strategy and execution across preclinical and clinical programs, acting as a scientific bridge between discovery and clinical development teams, and ensuring the delivery of robust, innovative translational approaches. The VP will also be responsible for mentoring and leading a team of scientists, fostering a culture of scientific rigor and collaboration, and serving as a trusted partner to executive leaders. Candidates for this role at the company should have a PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent in immunology, pharmacology, or a related life sciences discipline, with at least 10 years of translational science experience in biotech or large pharma settings. A proven track record in building and executing successful biomarker and translational plans, as well as leadership experience in managing teams, is essential. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, a collaborative leader, and possess strong scientific communication skills.
