PURPOSE:
Responsible for managing individual change management efforts. Provides strong execution skills related to range of change management project work including, but not limited to, technology changes, process redesign, organizational structure changes, people changes, and changes in strategy. Under minimal supervision, implements necessary changes to processes and business data for the location's conversion to their new ERP.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identifies/executes the appropriate change management scope, deliverables, expectations, priorities, and work plans that will mitigate / manage the risk for each project.
- Defines actions, work products, and processes necessary to accomplish individuals’ assigned tasks
- Researches creative solutions to cross functional problems.Identifies and surfaces objections.
- Reports on deficient items in project plans and provides input to quality reviews
- Works with staff at all levels to help find key questions to surface issues and assist with design solutions
- Reports on stakeholders who are critical to achieving project success; maintains credibility with key stakeholders.
- Review a converting location’s current business practices, execute future state desired changes that ensure compatibility using BFS software and systems.
- Executes implementation of the location’s data. At the direction of the Lead, ensures all of the location’s required data types are being prepared for conversion in a timely fashion.
- Uses existing tools to determine or estimate the amount of data clean-up is required at a converting location.
- Utilizes approved training materials, instructional aids, and curriculum in training sessions. Prepares and distributes materials at training session.
- Works with Lead on logistics, such as contacting attendees maintaining training calendar, and the physical set-up. Teaches and facilitates training sessions. May be in person or Via Web training.
- Assists in the mentoring and coaching process of individuals and peers
- Understands and helps prepare change management reports
- Effectively manages tasks on time and within quality standards
- Contributes to capturing knowledge sharing data/materials on projects
- Responsible to grow one’s expertise in at least one functional area that could include executive stakeholder engagement, training, communications, organizational design, resistance management, and deployment
- Effectively manages expenses following the direction of the department
- Adheres and promotes group compliance/safety with internal company policies
- Other duties as may be assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- High school diploma or equivalent and/or (3) years related work experience. Must have a thorough knowledge of Builders FirstSource business software and systems.Typically requires that individual has prior employment history at BFS. Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Problem solving and root cause identification skills.

- Work is in an office setting and at field operations sites, it is generally sedentary with physical effort associated with using a computer; involves significant walking around company facilities and properties.
