Job Title : Warehouse Associate

Job Description

As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for preparing products for shipment by skid, crate, or box and processing routine shipping paperwork. You will maintain a clean and safe working environment through the proper and timely disposition and storage of materials. This is a 1st shift opportunity starting at $19 an hour

Responsibilities

• Support assembly with repackaging, kitting, and staging of materials.
• Safely remove and dispose of wood, plastic, metal, and other packaging materials according to standard procedures.
• Work with SAP to update storage bin information and identify and locate materials.
• Complete routine inspections of material handling equipment.
• Operate a turret truck forklift, ensuring you are comfortable with heights, as you will be lifted to pick orders.
• Operate a sit-down forklift to move picked orders from racks to shipping.
• Unload and load trucks daily using forklifts.
• Transport scrap bins to the unloading area and transfer materials into the dumpster.
• Visually inspect parts and move them to the receiving parts staging area.
• Operate forklift trucks and / or cranes to move materials into and out of assembly.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Elgin, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 / hr.
