Certification (DoD 8570 IAT Level II) : Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GICSP, or equivalent.

Computing Environment Certification : CCNA, CCNA-E, CCNP, or CCNP-E

Overview :

Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Specialist to support network planning, installation, and technical oversight efforts. This role will lead and coordinate project tasks, ensure system performance, and support seamless communication between technical teams and government stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform technical and analytical evaluations of telecommunications systems, preparing detailed documentation and reports.
• Develop and deliver briefings and presentations to project stakeholders.
• Lead on-site installation and configuration efforts for telecommunications and network systems.
• Support the development, execution, and monitoring of project plans, ensuring milestones and requirements are met.
• Review work products to ensure accuracy, compliance with design standards, and alignment with user requirements.
• Coordinate closely with Vendor Program Managers, COTRs, and end-user representatives to ensure effective solutions and high customer satisfaction.
