Production Cook – Protein Bar Manufacturing

Employment Type : Part-Time

Compensation :

Hourly, based on experience

Job Description :

Kailo is redefining the protein bar. Made with clean, organic ingredients and no added sugar, we’re a fast-growing CPG brand looking for a reliable, detail-oriented production cook to join our kitchen team.

This is not a typical line cook role— you’ll be working in a food production environment , preparing and packaging small-batch, handcrafted protein bars.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Measure, mix, and batch ingredients according to standardized recipes
  • Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, scales, and sealing machines
  • Portion, cut, and shape bars consistently
  • Handle sealing and packaging processes
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards at all times
  • Follow HACCP and food safety protocols
  • Label and store ingredients and finished goods properly
  • Assist with inventory and basic prep tasks as needed

Qualifications :

  • Must have or be willing to obtain a Food Handler Certification (ServSafe or equivalent)
  • Experience in a production kitchen, commercial kitchen, or CPG / food startup is a plus
  • Comfortable with manual, repetitive tasks and precision-based work
  • Able to lift 40+ lbs and stand for long periods
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for clean, quality food
  • Team-oriented, punctual, and dependable

    • Schedule :

  • Shifts available 2–4 days / week, flexible based on availability
  • Ideal for early risers or those who enjoy a focused, process-driven kitchen role
