Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Operations in Rochester, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a food and beverage location. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond promptly to any situations that arise. This armed post requires a current armed guard card / license. By providing exceptional customer service and communication, you will support the caring and reliable culture that defines Allied Universal, working within a collaborative team that values integrity and innovation.

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing training and experience to address issues that arise.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor access points and verify the identification of individuals entering and exiting the location, maintaining awareness of all activity.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious behavior according to Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement as required to address security-related concerns within the food and beverage production environment.
  • Maintain a professional presence while carrying a firearm, adhering to all applicable laws and company policies regarding armed posts.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Possess an armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
