PSYCHIATRIST POSITION SUMMARY

The Site Psychiatrist provides diagnostic evaluation and treatment to patients as well as psychiatric consultation, diagnosis, and treatment to patients. The Site Psychiatrist provides clinical direction, general supervision, and training to the site staff, and has other managerial responsibilities. They approve, sign, and monitor the implementation and efficiency of all treatment plans. The Psychiatrist creates discharge plans to insure appropriate follow-up and support after discharge from the facility.
