Job Description Job Details Job Title Occupational Therapist Job Summary Permanent Occupational Therapist position in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and long-term care setting, just minutes from downtown Norfolk and a 10-minute drive to the beach/ocean. The role involves providing occupational therapy services to patients with a focus on modalities, ADL training, falls and balance, dysphagia, Vital Stim, dementia program, rehab dining, contracture management & splinting, and seating & positioning. The facility utilizes E-Doc via Net Health and iPads for each rehab team member and offers education opportunities via Med Bridge for licensure renewals. Join a very cohesive rehab team with years of experience. Key Responsibilities Providing occupational therapy services to patients in a SNF and long-term care setting. Implementing treatment plans focused on modalities, ADL training, falls and balance, dysphagia, Vital Stim, dementia program, rehab dining, contracture management & splinting, and seating & positioning. Utilizing E-Doc via Net Health for documentation. Collaborating with a cohesive rehab team. Required Qualifications Occupational Therapist License (OT) Preferred Qualifications Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) and long-term care setting. Experience with modalities, ADL training, falls and balance, dysphagia, Vital Stim, dementia program, rehab dining, contracture management & splinting, and seating & positioning. Skills & Competencies Strong clinical skills in occupational therapy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a team. Proficiency in using E-Doc systems, preferably Net Health. Knowledge of modalities, ADL training, falls and balance, dysphagia, Vital Stim, dementia program, rehab dining, contracture management & splinting, and seating & positioning. Shift Details Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (08:00:00 - 16:30:00). 35 hours per week. No weekend rotation. Licensing Requirements Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in the state of Virginia.
