Salary Range

• Pay: $25.00 – $45.00 per hour (based on experience and skill level)

Job Description

We’re seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on medium-duty Ford trucks in our air-conditioned and heated shop.
This position is responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing various automotive systems including engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, brakes, and A/C systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Ford medium-duty trucks (F-250, F-350, F-450)

• Work efficiently and accurately in line with dealership standards and repair orders

• Use diagnostic tools and service equipment to identify and resolve mechanical or electrical issues

• Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding additional repairs or recommendations

• Provide time estimates for each repair order and document work completed

• Complete warranty and customer-pay repairs to manufacturer standards

• Maintain a clean work environment and ensure proper use of PPE and shop tools

• Stay current on certifications and required training

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required

• Minimum 1–2 years of professional diesel technician experience

• Solid understanding of diesel systems, maintenance, and repair practices

• Team-oriented with strong communication skills

• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Must be reliable, self-motivated, and safety-focused

• Willing to complete a background check and drug screening
