The Data Specialist is responsible for managing analyzing and maintaining accurate and reliable data to support business operations reporting and decision-making. This role ensures data integrity consistency and security while working closely with cross-functional teams. The position operates in a fully remote environment and requires strong technical skills analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
Collect clean organize and maintain data from multiple sources in compliance with company standards
Perform data validation quality checks and error correction to ensure accuracy
Develop and maintain databases spreadsheets and data management systems
Generate reports dashboards and visualizations to support business decision-making
Collaborate with internal teams to identify data needs and ensure timely delivery of information
Monitor data quality metrics and provide recommendations for improvements
Ensure compliance with data security privacy and governance policies
Support ad-hoc data analysis and research projects
Document procedures data definitions and workflows to maintain consistency
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Data Science Computer Science Information Systems Statistics or a related field
25 years of experience in data management data analysis or data operations roles
Strong knowledge of databases data management principles and data quality best practices
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Google Sheets SQL and / or data visualization tools (Power BI Tableau etc.)
Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CRM systems ERP platforms or data management software
Knowledge of scripting or programming languages for data processing (Python R etc.)
Familiarity with data governance compliance and privacy regulations
Prior remote work experience in a data-focused role
Compensation
Annual Salary Range : $60000 $85000 USD depending on experience skills and geographic location
