Position Description :

Tests REST Application Program Interfaces (APIs) using Postman. Builds Rest Test Automation suites for regression testing. Produces and debugs API contracts using REST and JSON. Analyzes and monitors for performance issues and risk exposure. Conducts vendor risk analysis and provides recommendations to mitigate risk. Translates business requirements to data and process models, use cases, and sequence diagrams. Validates database queries and improves application performance. Reviews software and systems artifacts and test scripts. Provides analysis leadership on complex systems analysis projects, often across subsystems and companies, in a matrix organization. Consult with business users to develop recommendations that address difficult and complex business needs and opportunities.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensures financial planning experiences are functioning as designed.
• Identifies system issues, magnitude, and options for resolution.
• Analyzes and monitors for performance issues and risk exposure.
• Monitors business and systems analysis, data querying, information parsing, and requirements definition to improve client experience and solve application issues.
• Analyzes data to develop, recommend, and implement solutions that protect the client and organization.
• Performs data risk analysis and provides appropriate solutions for the identified risks.
• Works with complex relational database schemas to perform root cause analysis and provide recommendations for product risk mitigations.
• Drives risk mitigation by collaborating with Business Groups and technical groups via corrective and preventive actions
• Communicates with business partners and end users across the organization.
• Proposes and challenges solutions for automating business processes.

Education and Experience :

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience as a Principal Systems Analyst (or closely related occupation) developing functionalities in an IT or HealthCare domain, using Teradata database and Teradata Utilities.

Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Principal Systems Analyst (or closely related occupation) developing functionalities in an IT or HealthCare domain, using Teradata database and Teradata Utilities.

Skills and Knowledge :

Candidate must also possess:

• Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) designing and analyzing large-scale enterprise applications processes in complex distributed environments, using Informatica, Oracle, Power BI, and AWS; and implementing enterprise-wide Web-services and API solutions by applying software engineering best practices, using SOAP and REST design principals.
• DE performing data design and analysis — Data GAP Analysis, designing the database Schemas, and dividing the requirements into functional specifications — using Blueprint Use cases and MS Visio; and writing complex queries to granulize data and provide solutions within the business process environment for Teradata, Oracle, SQL server, and Snowflake.
• DE testing API’s and REST Web services using REST Assured and POSTMAN tool; and generating custom regression reports for validating requests and API response of JSON content, using Python Frameworks (Pandas).
• DE acting as a Scrum Master to provide solutions in Agile environments; and helping team transform projects into Agile-Scrum models and maintaining Scrum boards in JIRA and Confluence.
