Power test Engineer

Role : Power Test engineer
Location : Milpitas CA onsite

Job Description:

• Hands-on lab work using power analyzers such as oscilloscope function generators electronic-loads AC/DC power source etc.
• Execute board-mount/front-end power test cases
• Identify and document bugs/issues with design through validation and report to team members/design team.
• Document test data into test reports

Required Skills

• Knowledge on power electronics (e.g AC/DC- DC/DC conversion power conversion topologies)
• Understanding of Board-mount/Front-end Power
• Proficiency with various power analyzers (e.g oscilloscope AC/DC power source function generators electronic-loads etc.)
• Experience with soldering components on pcb.
• Proficiency in reading schematics
• Comfortable in a Unix/Linux environment

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience in failure analysis and troubleshooting skills in a lab environment
• Experience in test planning validation finding failures and driving issues to resolution with cross functional teams
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to document test results/data into a concise test report in a complete manner
